(Food for thought) Humanity is not a lost cause:

Cavemen to Ancient Human - 2 Million Years - Basic Tool User
Ancient Human to Classic Human - 500 Thousand Years - Master Tool User
Classic Human to Modern Human - 200 Thousand Years - Industrial Tool User
Modern Human to Master Human - 100 Years ongoing - Techno Tool User

With our current technology, we are comparable to the Ancient Humans who just discovered the wheel and, somehow 100 years later, discover a Modern Human Vehicle. Imagine the havoc that would create, because they don't have traffic lights yet. ^___^

Things like the microwave changed cooking (waiting) time from hours to minutes. Expecting things to happen faster, this gave birth to the people who lost faith in humanity. We are at the dawn of the becoming Master Humans, and it's only been 100 and some odd years. So stop expecting humans to meet unreasonable

As we evolve - our tools evolve, and in turn, as our tools evolve - we evolve.

Humanity's ' "Figurative Traffic Lights" have not yet been placed, since we are still learning where to Stop, where to Prepare and where to Go.

So thinking that humanity is a lost cause is as idiotic as expecting a flying fish to do exactly what it's name suggests, which is to flap it's wing-like fins and fly. Technically, it probably should have been called The Gliding Fish. Just because it can't take to the skies does not mean it doesn't have the potential to evolve in that direction (should natural selection allow it). Humans alike have potential however, unlike the Gliding Fish, we now have control of our evolutionary direction.

In conclusion there still is hope, but only if the cynics and haters stop adding to the problem by choosing to do nothing about the very things that turned them into cynics and haters in the first place.

Reflection of the Day:

Stop Hating
No Quitting
Keep Hoping
Start Doing
