When is slander or libel not a slander or libel? When it is a lie.

Discuss the harm of slander or libel with a view to the Holocaust. Holocaust deniers will be ignored, quite irrationally.

I've always wondered how televangelists, preachers, priests, imams, rabbis, and the sorts get away with the immeasurable amount of slander and libel that they produce on demonstrably true science and social groups (homosexuals, atheists, pagans)?

I'm not saying that. What I'm saying is how is it that they are able to spread viciously deceitful information (not just of atheists) without any legal charges?
