Sorry but fist association I got when reading this was: running for miss(mr) world World peace!
Back to the topic: Why? Because people are lazy; it's easier to follow then think for yourself.
why can't we all just Live in Peace with Each other? You can get your answer in the No exit (by Sartre): “Hell is—other people!” or if you're more of a TV guy: watch any reality show - sooner or later a conflict arises. Face it, we are not peaceful creatures; we need drama.
Nothing makes on religion better than the other, they just tend to act like they are, and often are used as a crutch for the inherent human weaknesses instead of, oh you know...SCIENCE! Science could really use the 10% of their paycheck they're skimping out on.
Because some religions are obviously fake, yet people use them to brainwash whole generations. Religion is a tool of politics, nothing more. When a person believes in God, why would you make him decide from the preconstructed visions of God? Books and facts have many interpretations, and holy books are not an exception.
I understand your frustration. I am having it too. basically people who think that only their religions are correct usually are narrow minded people, who haven't studied other religions deep enough. or maybe they study them, but only from the sources which expose bad things about other religions. anyway, there are many religious people out there who think differently. just check at this: [link] and [link] .
also, you may want to search in the internet what Anthony de Mello, Kahlil Gibran, and Swami Vivekanandha have said about different religions (different than theirs).
also, some religions are inherently pluralistic, for example Baha'i, and some branch of Hindusim.
Why would you expect anyone in any ideology to not think it's better than others? Why would they be part of it if they did not think so? In fact; why would you even have respect for them if they did something they did not think was good enough that other people should as well to a large degree? That simply means they care more about themself than others.
I personally want to take the blame of failing you and I mean everyone here who been asking and fighting over the answers to the question you be asking, it has not, will not and never will it be God who has failed to show himself to this world, not him but his children(not all but most) who have failed to give what he has been and has been desiring to give out to this world, forgive me for my failing, blame me and not Him. The questions of those who wholeheartedly want to know the answers will receive them soon, the time of insufficient answers that we, his children, have been giving you is coming to an end, the answers you truly need it coming. Those who need to be satisfied will be satisfied, those who need comfort will be comforted, the time is coming when you will get what you need and been asking from God.
then i guess i am a Lost Fool for without Question's i would be lost in a Bliss, Blindly walking to my pending doom, and how would i know who i truly am? and my i die as a fool for my quest for Answers will not end thusly
Ask God yourself. He's the only one who will be able to answer satisfactorily on that issue . Well, I mean, other people can answer, but his answer, well, it settles it, if you know what I mean.
"why is that we Have people saying that If you Don't Believe in God you go to Hell?"
Because that's their interpretation of the verses. Some people like that interpretation, others do not.
"why do we Have to Worship to some one who has yet to show himself?"
Because he asks us to. But more in line with it, it's because learning to use faith is important for the afterlife.
"yet little has been said and told but those Answers Come from a Book"
Where does the book come from? Revelation. Is the book flawless? I don't think so, but it is very very good, and contains lots of revelation to look at.
In any case, you shouldn't believe in God simply because a book says so; you should ask for a witness from the Spirit... you should ask God to confirm that he is there in your knowledge.
"so what makes My motives Right or Wrong?"
That's a large subject of debate. Some say God makes things right or wrong. Others say there is an inherent property. I generally prefer the first, but I know many who prefer the second.
"what makes me so Sinful?"
You are tempted. I am tempted. Temptation sometimes leads to sin. The good things is God allows repentance, so sin isn't this trap pit it might have been.
"why can't we all just Live in Peace with Each other?"
Because we don't want to, I'm afraid. =/
"and trade and be happy and not yell at who is wrong and who is right about Religion? "
Because who is right an wrong is an important issue. There's a lot of conflicting thoughts. Your goal is to find the correct one. Thus, there is a lot of incorrect ones, right? And when someone says 'is that wrong' you are going to say 'yes', right? So, we end up with the conflicts we have.
"i just want to see a world that Dose not hate each others gut's for who they are and what they stand for."
So do I. But, it isn't for me to make other people's decisions. I will do my best with what I have to encourage that type of peace though, much of the time.
If you spend at least 5000 hours of your life researching religion, spirituality, etc... you will eventually arrive at the conclusion that RELIGION IS MAN-MADE AND SPIRITUALITY IS JUST IS.
And the whole "dont believe in God you go to Hell" part?
The Bible says that God is Love. ---- 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. (1 John 4:8) -----
Of course if you dont have love in your heart, you would be making room for the NEGATIVE FORCES to enter into your heart. And Devils feed on negative energy and would make a home in you. And as a result your soul gets damaged. And damaged soul gets dragged down to the lower astral realms (aka Hell) by demons. Not by God.
Don't listen to the hellfire and brimstone Christians out there who make God look like some kind of dictator. God is not a dictator!!!
----- For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. (Matthew 11:30) ----- This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome (1 John 5:3) -----
And they are not burdensome and they make a lot of sense if you study the deeper meanings into them and not just rely on the crazy preachers.
thank you for you're Reply, and taking you're time to read my post.
ight, that might Cover half of what i was talking about but dose not cover the rest, for instance how did he create us, and Why? and why do We hate Each other because of skin , and other factors and Lastly why do we Worship Words from a Script or Pose, or from a Book? *via Example the Comment Below this*, this reply might complicate matters or lighten.
how did he create us, and Why? - Not too sure on how. But leaning towards more of the idea that God initiated the Big Bang. Why? Not sure why God created us. But I just know that we live through this earth to learn lessons. To spiritually advance to the next realm of existence until we become pure spirit and one with God.
why do We hate Each other because of skin? - It is part of the flawed human nature. Humans are spirit-flesh hybrids. Therefore they are imperfect.
Lastly why do we Worship Words from a Script or Pose, or from a Book? - I dont worship the words from a book. I worship God. YHVH. And yes I had a time period of questioning reality as well. Of questioning God. But found out how it makes so much sense. And the fact that YHVH is a loving God. I have arrived at that conclusion after spending lots of time researching non-religious sources as well as personal experience.
I encourage you to continue your spiritual journey.
if would be interesting that if *God* initiated the Big Bang, but Why would he?, isn't he All Powerful? all knowing? and how do you know we become Spirit's and be one with *God*.... and im sorry But why?
If my memory serves me Correct it is said we are Born in his Image correct, so Why where we given Flaws or Sins??
it's no thanks to that book, Pose, or Script that *you or other's* are Reminded of him.
this is probably going to be a mean question but, Do you Truly remember God when you where a Child? when did you find out about *God* did you Truly Know and Understand Him when you where little?
if would be interesting that if *God* initiated the Big Bang, but Why would he?, isn't he All Powerful? all knowing? - so... how else would he create the world? Everything manifest instantly? Um... based on what I know of God, he wants you to LEARN your lesson and evolve spiritually. How can you learn if you're spoon fed?
and how do you know we become Spirit's and be one with *God*? - I know this to be true because I pray daily. I just feel this love (God IS Love). This compassion for all living things. For my fellow humans. And I want to share to them my knowledge to tbe best of my ability so they spiritually advance.
If my memory serves me Correct it is said we are Born in his Image correct, so Why where we given Flaws or Sins?? - We contain shards of the creator. But not the entirety. Therefore we are flawed. Whenever the atheist points out christian hypocrites it is driven by a sense of JUSTICE. And God is infinitely just.
Do you Truly remember God when you where a Child? - no I do not. I was brought up Catholic (Catholicism is paganism + christianity - spirituality). Therefore I had no connection with God back then.
We have choices. And you will only know God if you ask for it.
My question is why do you start asking why one religion is better than any other, yet only reference one. You do know that the world is full of other non-judeo christian religions? That arn't based off of "a book" with completely different beliefs than the ones you presented. Great job at pretending to be open minded.
no i do Know and i Refer'd to all the Religions " What makes One Religion better then the Other " at the Very Beginning and i was using the Christian Bible as a Base to concrete my Opinion and Questions, and i do not see how i am Pretending? yes i might have made it seem like i am singling out one or Two religion, so i guess i am sorry if i have thrown it off, and instead of throwing it back into my face and in a way saying "ha ha you're a Retard" i sugjest helping or trying to Correct and ask Questions to see what i mean.
"My question is why do you start asking why one religion is better than any other..." I'm fully aware of how you started, which is why the switch to a single western viewpoint was noted. One of those two doesn't belong. Asking that and then only mentioning one specific system of beliefs is pointless. If you're goal was to discuss Christianity, then do that, since from what you wrote it seems like you have some issues with that. But really, giving one example to encompass all religions, doesn't cut it.
Further, it isn't the religions that hate, it's the individuals in them. Do you really think that without religions there wouldn't be hate? Just look back at history for the answer to that one.
the Funny thing about history it's Filled with Hate, Strife, and Anger, but also Innovation and Ingenuity. and no it's not to Souly discuss Christianity it's to ask the simple Age old, History Writin question "Why" why so much hate and Anger and what is the core of the problem aka *humans* so why did some one Create a Book about a man named "Jesus" and why did the Greek's create the "Greek Gods" and why did the Aztecs create "the Mayan Gods" and so on and so forth.
No doubt, it's filled with many things, but religion is not the source of hate. Hate is a survival mechanism the predated our concept of religion, an evolutionary trait that was used for survival in primitive man.
People made all those stories to explain things they couldn't. But what about religions without deities? Not all religions feature a pantheon of supernatural individuals.
acculy if i remember Correctly Hate is not a Survival Mechanism it's described as a Feeling of some sort a Anger towards one person, but our Primitive man survival Mechanism was to Group up and form tribes or Wandering group's to look for food, water, and Shelter, and we still Demonstrait that Mechanism Via example "towns, City's, and houses".
and yes i do know of some Beliefs that don't have a Deities or a Higher power, i can't remember Exactly what they Have faith in or what they Believe but i think it involves the Earth and Science *aka Scientology i remembered one *
