"Right and Wrong…"


If there's one thing everyone should know, it's this…

Well be for I start, I just want to say that it's best to read EVERYTHING no matter what it is in order to understand what I'm trying to say. I know it's long and goes over some sensitive subjects, but please bear in mind… I'm trying to stop a fight the best way I can… I'm not start another one… please bare with this in mind… I don't want to see anyone getting emotionally hurt… and if you see anyone that doesn't share you're belief about something, just share what you believe… don't fight over who's right or wrong…
That's what I'm trying to prevent…

The only truth that can be true no matter what the situation is the good/horrible fact that no mater who, what, when, or where…

"PEOPLE WILL ALWAYS DISAGREE WITH ONE ANOTHER!!!"


And there are to more ultimate truths…

1. A person is entitled to believe what ever he or she wants to believe no matter what it is…
2. … and no one but that person can change that belief unless that person chooses to do so.


Now that's been said I shall continue.

You don't "KNOW" anything to be TRUE… you "BELIEVE/ ACCEPT" it to be TRUE!

We all "know" that "2 + 2 = 4", The sky "is" blue, and that there are things known to be "good" and "bad"…

I know I'm going to shock every last one of you when I say this… but it's true…

"YOU'RE ALL WRONG!!!"

As long as there are people living, there is always someone to counter everything.

There are those who believe "2 + 2" is "5" instead of "4", some say the sky is "red", and some believe that "good" and "bad" don't exist…

I know what most of you will think: "They're wrong…

Well according to the basic laws of the universe: "I'm as right as you are wrong" and you're right just as I am wrong…"

I have a feeling that a lot of you are confused or misunderstanding what I just said, so I'll continue.

Let's take the "2 +2" example…

You can't say "2 + 2" IS "4" for one reason…

IT'S NOT!

Before you CORRECT me… CORRECT THIS…

ALL KNOWLEDGE ABOUT ANYTHING (except religion) COMES FROM THE FACT THAT YOU APPLY A MEANING TO EVERYTHING!!!

So "2" is considered by most to be a number…

"+" is considered to be a symbol that means to combine a number with another number…

And "4" (in this case) is considered to be the number you get when 2 and 2 are placed in front and behind the "+" symbol…

But why isn't "2 + 2" accepted to be… let's say… "5"?

The answer…

It was agreed upon by majority of the world that "2 + 2" must be "4" as that is the number it "SHOULD" be…

However…

As I said… you "BELIEVE/ ACCEPT" something…

You can't "KNOW" something to be "TRUE", because the knowledge of everything is derived from the fact that is "BELIEVE/ ACCEPT" to be true…

Yet…

That dose not mean that you can just change something like that and prove to the world that what you're believing to be true should be accepted… they won't listen because that would cause them to challenge their beliefs…

We know that changing the way a person thinks/reacts to a certain object/topic causes them to react in most cases in a "negative" way…

If I said that… bear in mind that I'm only making a statement not stating that this is true or not…

Women are inferior to men…

I know that isn't true as a woman can do certain task as well as and in some cases better than men. Trust me I "KNOW"! (Oh for the record I am a male, so don't think I'm "judging"…)


But I'm getting of topic…

Here's my second argument…

Just because you believe it's "TRUE" doesn't mean someone else will…

Take religion for example…

I'm going to try to put this the best way I can, knowing even though that some of you will take this the wrong way, because like I just stated and restated earlier…
"PEOPLE WILL ALWAYS DISAGREE WITH ONE ANOTHER!!!"

Religion is the best example as it is the best example of beliefs spread and shared through one another.

Before I explain future I will say this. I am a Christian (7th. Day Adventist to be exact.)…

HOWEVER I RESPECT ALL BELIEFS NO MATTER WHAT THEY ARE, EVEN IF MY RELIGION SPEAKS AGAINST THEM… AND YES BELIEVE IT OR NOT I RESPECT SATANISM AS WELL… HOWEVER I RESPECT IT… I DON'T AGREE WITH IT AT ALL…

This is most likely going to pit a lot of you against me, but I must say this as no one seems to have the courage to say so…

YOU ARE ALL WRONG!

It doesn't matter what religion I list because of what I'm about to say next…

Religion is essentially nothing more that the details of a belief as taught or discussed…

That being said, I as a Christian who believes God exist can't place negative expressions upon someone who believes in other higher being(s) or the lack there of…

I know I've most likely upset a lot of Christians by saying that…

But as I said, we have a choice to believe what ever we wish no matter how, odd, different, or wrong it may seem…

I love my faith… and there are those who love theirs and the lack there of…
We all have choices to believe what ever we wish.

Because of that I have the right to believe that there is a God, just as you can agree with me, believe in multiple beings, or the lack there of.

Now just because of this… it doesn't give you or me the right to force our beliefs upon someone…

Telling and showing your beliefs is one thing… Forcing them is another.

Let's take racism as this example.

I know what racism can do to a person… I should know, I've been a victim of it.

You have the right to believe someone is inferior to another for any reason you can think of…

HOW EVER THAT DOSE NOT GIVE YOU OR ANYONE ELSE THE RIGHT TO PHYSICALY OR EMOTIONALY HARM SOMEONE TO FORCE THEM INTO BELIVING YOU!!!

I've been beaten physically and emotionally into submission by people like this…
And to say Racism doesn't exist anymore… just look around… it's even here on DA…
To say racism ended in the 90's or when ever you believe it ended is a lie.

It might have ended on a countrywide scale, but on the group individual scale it remains alive and well at the expense of others.

Unfortunately, you can tell a man and/or a woman a lie long enough and (s)he'll believe it to be true…

Hence the reason why it's still around…

There are some things that you just don't do… making racial slurs and other remarks let alone getting into physical fights are some of those things…

I'd go into "right" and "wrong", but sadly those things are "relative"…

What might be "right" to you can be viewed "wrong" in others…

Don't believe me… well trust me… you don't want to learn the "hard way"…
Moving on I just want to say one more thing…

Yes, I left some "lose ends"… but I'll let you figure them out for yourself…

If you don't agree with anything I just said… at least respect this fact…

In you life you will have to live, work, and even talk to those people who don't share the same belief… but for my sake, your sake… for the well being of others, at least try to get along… if not anywhere at least here on DA…

I have many friends that don't share my beliefs…
Some are atheist...
Some are homosexual…
And others... but we get along besides our "differences... you should too...

This is OUR GREATEST STRENGTH/WEAKNESS...
THIS IS THE ULTIMATE PARADOX...

All I will say is that there will be those who don't agree with you…

When that happens… just move one… they're as right about their beliefs as you are…

I care about my fellow deviants and everyone else… I don't want them to hate each other…
