As someone who believes in ghosts, and can detect them, and interact with them, my opinion probably flies in the face of the scientific opinions. I'm normally a very scientific person myself, but I can't ignore personal experience.
Some know they're dead, some don't. Those that don't know can be interacted with by those who are open to the possibility. I like to help the ones who don't know they're dead to accept that they're dead, and move on. No forcing them to, just informing them they're dead, and telling them it's okay to be afraid, and that courage isn't the lack of fear, it's acting despite fear. Most of the time, it seems to work. I can go back to a place with another ghost talker and they won't sense anything, so I guess the spirits do move on.
Yes, they do. After death the triune self is reunited. For the dead to know, consciousness would have to be present. Consciousness is the Presence in all things, it is beginningless, and endless; it is indivisible, without parts, qualities, states, attributes or limitations. Everything from the least to the greatest, in and beyond time and space is dependent on it, to be and to do. Its presence in every unit of nature and beyond nature enables all things and beings to be conscious as what or of what they are, and are to do, to be aware and conscious of all other things and beings, and to progress in higher degrees of being conscious towards the ultimate Reality - Consciousness.
If Awareness persists post-mortem, perhaps in the form of some residual energy or quantum imprint on the universe or some other scientific garble I don't understand, then they clearly have no brain, no solid form of storing and processing new information.
Do you ever wonder why ghosts are always reported as acting out moments in their lives on repeat indefinitely? this is likely the reason.
Now, assuming that it does not, then either way, they wouldn't care now would they?
That time I dreamed that an undead Vincent Price was at my kitchen table reading the "Dollar General" flier, would have been the perfect time to ask...alas, I only thought to ask if he wanted his coffee refreshed.
There is a passages in the Bible, when a person dies in his or her sins, both "Body and Soul", shall die. In another words, ones your dead you are dead, you will never come back to life nor come to any conscious existence. You are simply dead, both body and soul and you will never come back to any remembrance nor come into mind. Because, the Bible says, the "Wages of Sins is Death", both body and soul shall die. We read this truth in the book of Romans 6:23, Ezekiel 18:4, Ezekiel 18:20-23, Ecclesiastes 2:16, Psalms 34:16 and Isaiah 65:17.
"For the wages of sin is death." But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord...Romans 6:23."
"Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine. "The soul that sinneth, it shall die...Ezekiel 18:4."
"The soul that sinneth, it shall die." The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die. All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live. Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD and not that he should return from his ways, and live? ...Ezekiel 18:20-23."
"For there is no "remembrance" of the wise more than of the fool for ever; seeing that which now is in the days to come shall all be forgotten. And how dieth the wise man? as the fool...Ecclesiastes 2:16."
"The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the "remembrance" of them from the earth...Psalms 34:16."
"For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth and the former shall not be "remembered", nor come into mind...Isaiah 65:17."
If you don't mind me asking. I don't know cause I havent been to church very much as a kid, but doesn't that contradict the idea of heaven and hell? If not please explain I'd like to know more. Thanks!
Do the dead know they are dead..?
