if evolution is undeniably true... then what happens?

:iconthemaskeddeviant:
So, let's say for the sake of argument, there was a scientific discovery that made evolution as undeniably true as the earth being round. Like, so true that there is no way that Christians can turn their heads and say "You have no evidence for evolution". You have to accept that evolution is true... what's the worse that could happen? Will your entire religious faith just shatter to pieces? Will you go insane at the mere thought of one part of your Bible not being true? Will you begin frantically leafing through the pages in your Bible desperately looking for a passage that can be interpreted in a way so that you can say "Ha, see, the Bible knew that evolution was true all along."? What would happen?

And if you begin going on about how evolution is not true and that you will never believe it to be true then you entirely missed the point of my message.

True Muslims believe in evolution as well.

Our belief is that God is behind it all, he is the master planner, it all started with him.

It has been proven true. (Now please don't say it isn't true because it's called EVOLUTION THEORY!) There are two descriptions of what the word "theory" means. And the fact that it's got more solid evidence than the theory of gravity and the FACT that it has been WITNESSED just proves that you are well...(no polite way to say this.) IGNORANT.

Most Christians already believe in evolution, especially those who don't live in the United States' Bible Belt.

Did you know evolution is a more solid theory than gravity so to deny its existence is pretty ignorant. So to answer your question, its already true and we use it for science e.g tracing lineage, creating vaccines and antibiotics. etc list goes on.

This has already occurred. You already see the results.

Evolution is already established 'as undeniably true as the earth being round'. That doesn't prevent people from believing otherwise. In fact there are some who believe that the Earth is flat: [link]

I would point out that i'm an atheist, firstly.

I think they'd end up going on and on about how this unnamed "Proofing Event" was just a test of their faith in God, and that they weren't going to stop believing in God because us stupid hairless monkey things now have something that makes it seem like God never existed.

Discuss?

The theory of evolution does not disprove God's existence in any way. If evolution were proven, I would just believe that God created the earth and all the beings on it, including the creatures who eventually evolved into humans. It's really not a difficult concept to adjust to. Many Christians already believe in evolution alongside creationism.

That is not true, you need to do more research and do your homework. No offense! Evolution contradict everything they teach against the "Word of God of the Bible." And, that is the real truth. In case you didn't know it...

It does contradict stuff in the bible, but I don't think it would disprove God's existence at all.

I guess that's my own personal belief.
