Freaking Out, Need Some Kind Words

I'm going to the doctor tonight because there's a small, hard and massively painful lump under the skin of my armpit.

I know its probably nothing (lymph node probably) but I'm really tense and can't seem to settle my nerves. The fact that it really fucking hurts isn't helping. I could just really use a reason to laugh or something right now.

I had a lump in my breast.

I spent the time waiting for the result of the biopsy sleepless and stressed out. It did turn out to be nothing, but I have no words of wisdom of how to relax. Some things are just freak-out worthy.

OMG, I know what you went through D: It hurt like a mother! It eventually took a few days for the swelling to go down, possibly just a lymph node, it could also be a cyst. I also get those all the time(No idea how or why)
Was considering the doctors myself, but I gave it some time before deciding to go to the doctors. It seemed to have popped up over night(I shaved the day before, so who knows)

It's a cyst. I'm on antibiotics, since it's pretty badly infected. D:

I get those all the time. Either they're swollen lymph nodes or huge zits

Hey, that happened to me before and it was just my lymph nodes swelling up. It stayed like that for a week but went down.

Try not to worry about it too much, it is most likely just your lymph nodes. Try doing something that will get your mind off of it as in a hobby of some sort (video games, reading, writing, drawing, ect.). :)

I have something like that going on under one of mine, but I've decided it's just glands because it only does it certain times. It freaks me out though, since it can be other things, but I'm sure it's nothing. Try to think positive about it, and be happy you're at least making sure yours is just a lymph node problem or something simple like that. I haven't had the courage to go to a doctor yet, and I probably won't. Me no like the doctors:fear:

Relax dahling.

I get those a lot and it sucks. But they're so harmless. Once I had what felt like one right above my calf, for years. I have no idea what it was except that my mother insisted on removing it herself and out came a strange grey, uhm, rock like substance.

But since no one will be performing at home removal for you, just take a deep breath! And you're actually on top of things and seeing a doctor, so you're a step ahead.

It's probably the lymph node. You has an infection.

Of course it hurts, it's swollen and you're paying constant attention to the pain, so it's going to be more intense.
Have you considered icing down the pit? Maybe numbing it up will give you some relaxation, although the numbing part is where the freak out comes in:P

I had the nodes in my throat, under the jaw, turn into golf balls before. That week sucked.

You'll be fine, just drink a lot of booze, watch some porn (or cartoons), and relax.:icondiscoplz:
