first off, i know being on the computer doesn't help, but not being on it doesn't make a difference to be honest.

and i have like NO painkillers and the shops are closed now.

i've had a nice long bath to relax me but it just won't go away.

i get them from time to time, and they're made worse when i stand up or move suddenly.

anyone got any tips to help ease it? or to get rid of it?

A cold, wet cloth over the eyes helps me, as do hot baths in the dark.

Sometimes distraction cab work too, watching tv or whatever while waitin.g for pain killers to kick in

I get frequent headaches as well and I try to stay away from pills as much as possible. Here's some things that I try to get rid of them when I have really bad migraines...

I'm very light sensitive so I darken the room (blankets over windows, turn off all lights)
I'll put on some relaxing classical/piano music (low volume because I'm sound sensitive too)
Ask someone for a back rub as that relieves muscle tension
Buy a hot pad or make your own (rice in a cloth bag/tied off sock and microwave for 1 min) and put it on base base of skull
Drink a lot of water
There's a pressure point on the bridge of your nose that if you press down hard for awhile (It will hurt) just might take the edge off the pain (my uncle used to do this to me and he's a EMT so I'm pretty sure it's not BS) otherwise the hand pressure point mentioned above and Google other pressure points too, I know a lot of them are in your feet
Do periodic stretching (neck and back)
Often however, I've found the only way to really get rid of them is to sleep it off...

Hope you can get rid of em! Headaches suck, I feel your pain!

I've heard that masturbation naturally nulls the pain for a while.

Drink water, a Cold bath p'raps... Sleeping more, even.
Try Meditating. Stress can spark headaches too.

Drink some tea (however you prefer it, just not Black, cos that's got caffeine), STOP DRINKING SODA. Nothing but WATER to drink, or unsweetened tea and NOTHING ELSE.

Try getting Acupressure, acupuncture, or even just some Yoga, too. These can all help.

Just try to relax, and detatch yourself from your issues, even for a half an hour or so, it'll do wonders.'

Drink a lot of water. Most headaches are caused by dehydration.

Taking medicine and going straight to bed helps the best. But if you aren't tired enough, maybe try taking a nice hot bath?

Squeeze the part of your hand that is from your thumb and pointer finger. that webbing squishy part. It relieves pressure in your head.

you also might be getting tension headaches.
so to relieve this sit up straight, not hunched over. put your head/chin down to your chest. lock your hands together and put on top of your head. don't push down but dangle your arms down. kinda like dead weight.
this will pull your muscles from your neck to your spine.
it could hurt if you've never done it or have tense muscles.
move your head to the sides for more effects.

If you get them often, you should probably go see a doctor, it could be something serious.
