Impulse control problems

Handel76 Featured By Owner Nov 8, 2012
Basically I don't have any when it comes to what I say. Most of of the time I'm not a complete jackass so it dosent have negative repercussions. However the odd one flies under the radar usual if I think something I think is funny is perceived as creepy or rude. I know people say think before you speak but honestly it just goes by too fast for me. So anyone have any advice?

No advice. That's just the way your brain works. I have very good impulse control because that's how my brain works

How do you mean it goes too fast?

Perhaps it's just a matter of perception, rather than impulse control.. or it could be both.

Hm....I usually have my mouth shut for most of the time

maybe do something to remind yourself not to speak so easily?
Like if there's a funny situation and it's NOT a good thing to laugh about, I pinch my neck to stop myself from laughing.
Pinching my arm does not work for me, since it's does not hurt a lot.

What I'm trying to say is try something that will stop/remind you not to speak your thoughts before processing
