My Dad just got laid off. We are getting kicked out of our house around December because we can’t get a mortgage to actually buy it. And to top it all off my Grandfather might have lung cancer and my Grandmother is slowly going insane.
For one second in my life I wish my family could get a freaking break.
Well my dad is looking at a job in Georgia, but I really don't wanna move out of state cuz then I'ld have to start my college search allllllllll over again
This is that moment where the cosmos aline and a new door opens. Don't you worry your pretty little head. My family is also going through extremely hard times -- apartment life, food pantries, no furniture. The works. But if you keep an open mind and keep your eyes trained on the future, it can't help but keep its eyes on you.
Whatever you do, keep some bit of optimism at the back of your mind at all times. Also, keep at your hobbies. Reach out to others, like you're doing now. Strangely, I find that drawing my pain for the world to see and relate to helps me feel better about the situation that I am in.
Don't buy houses unless you have an income that allows you to pay the mortgage AND continue to save money for retirement etc........ Rent!
If you know you have until December to leave you have time to prepare. Plus, with a little bit of legal help you can extend that deadline. Many States will allow you to stay a little longer if you can claim a 'hardship' etc...
The issue is we are renting, the guy we are renting from either wants us to buy the house or get out. And we can't buy the house, so we have to get out.
For one second in my life I wish my family could get a freaking break.
