Before you go down to that little box and type something with your pretty keyboard, i would really appreciate it if you read the story.
Don't worry! It won't take long... Heheh...
So i was talking to a friend the other day, and we were just chilling out and having a nice, pleasant, uplifting conversation. You know where conversations take you-anywhere it might go. So we randomly got into the conversation of weight and what could help us lose it. She told me all these secrets that i never knew in my life. Some were easy as ice cream cake and i never even tried them out before. I tried them, and sure enough, it worked like a charm with my daily excersize routines.
I talked to my friend (it's a guy) and i told him all these secrets on how to lose all this weight and stuff. But with each passing secret that came out of my mouth, he gave me a weird look. Like how you would react to a commercial that had a joke that you didn't get. He stopped me, and then he just said, "Dude, that's gay." then he started to tell me that i should actually workout instead like lifting weights and curls ups and other stuff instead of eating small portions and not eating after 7 P.M.
So... Is it really wrong for a guy to watch his weight and try to look the best he can as a teenager and worry about how he looks? I mean, I don't stay in front of the mirror all day to see if i have a single pimple on my face, and I'm positive i don't make sure my hair is okay every minute. Its just that what he said just hit me, and don't know if it's true.
Jokes on him - do you know how many gays guy work out hardcore and are ripped as hell? I can't WAIT for your friend to run into one of these gay folks and assume they're straight just because they fit his definition of "manly".
You cant lose weight by lifting weights-you GAIN weight because muscle weighs more than fat...! The only way to actually shed the pounds is to diet AND excersize, my brother has been on diets and healthy ways of living for years now, and hes happily living with his girldfriend for 3 years now...not 'gay' at all unless you go back to the old 'gay=happy' english... I'm not going to say your friend was a dick for saying this-maybe he just instantly thought of you eating tiny puff cakes and complaining about calories like a teenage girl, hence saying those words to you. however, it was very rude of him. Go for your diet, become healthy, and show him whos the 'gay' one when you have all the babes scrambling over each other to get to your sexy bod! XDDD
That guy's just a jerk. He's not your real friend. Just because you want to watch your weight does NOT make you gay, and personally, I think it's great! Pure exercise will not help you at all, it'll just build muscle, which is kind of pointless if you're not healthy too. What you're doing is awesome and nice for a guy to do. I promise it'll help you in the long run.
Yes. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle means that you are a raging faggot, and you wish to suck on every penis ever. Looks like you caught the gay, my friend.
Well, what your friend said could easily be just the derogatory use of the word "gay" (as in "lame" or ect.), and is just not very interested in those kinds of things.
And if it hit you, maybe you should really stop and think about it.
Who are you trying to look good for?
I'm not trying to say that you may be homosexual, but if you aren't, it means you care a lot for your self-image and there is nothing wrong about that.
It's totally not gay to worry about how you look and what you do to maintain it. Your friend, and I don't know him and pass no judgement either way, just sounds kinda like an asshole to me. I'm shamelessly self involved. I am very concerned about what I look like most of the time, just because looking healthy and toned is awesome (and drives my lady nuts). So, that having been said, do what you need t do to feel comfortable with yourself and let nobody pass judgement on you.
"Homo" actions are a load of shit. The only thing "Homo" is, well, Homosexual intercourse. But there is no such thing as a "Homosexual action." Straight men can sew, Dance on stage, talk about how they love growing Orchids, etc. and so can members of the homosexual community. You're friend is scum. Get a new one.
your friend is just being a douche. who is he to say that losing weight will give you a "homo" image? I'm enrolled in a diet program, and a lot of the previous participants were straight guys. heck, even the person who referred me to the program is a guy.
contrary to what your friend says, working out is not a solution parallel to dieting. no matter how hard you work out at the gym, if you don't portion your food well, you're just going to get back all that weight you tried to shed off during exercise. they're not mutually exclusive, working out and dieting go hand in hand, so if you really want to stay fit, make sure you're eating right too.
Don't worry! It won't take long... Heheh...
