i'm not sure if this is in the right forum -_-u

my kneaded eraser is all sticky and leaves marks on my paper. my friend told me to wash it with soap and put some baby oil on it, but it's still sticky. should I just throw it out then?

I also have a problem with my kneaded eraser.... I dunno why but recently it has stated to stink..... and stink means bacteria....... I always but it in a plastic bag after use. I've been trying to get the stink off..... I keep it out of the plastic and every couple of hours I would knead. Still stinks.. even after a day :o Its practically new......

Wash it with soap and add baby oil? O___o
That's new to me.
Time to get a new one I'm afraid, it'll never have the same elasticity.
