Sex and headaches?

So sex threads seem to get the most posts in here (I'm not suprised). But it seems a majority of replies are normally seemingly self conscious, (Jealous?) teenagers telling them not to have sex until they're legal
Let me first ween these people out right now before asking my question
1. I know consequences
2. It's not wrong
3. I'm not sinning, I am an atheist.
4. "When you have a kid you'll regret it" I probably will
5. "When you get an STD you'll regret it" Probably will.

Anyways moving on
me and my girlfriend have a steady sex life but it seems lately it's began to hurt, not sexually, more mentally, and by mentally I don't mean emotionally, I mean I get a headache when I climax, same for masturbation too
So lately I've been taking advil before & after sex, maybe smoke a touch of pot, it helps a bit, but I still get a severe headache

so I've just come to ask, is there any medical reason for this? What should I do?/etc?

its a couple of times every weekend, and a few times during the week if we see each other, we don't necessarily do it that much I guess, so I doubt I really need to lay off

It seems like it has something to do with your blood pressure. Do you feel light headed or dizzy?

Just phone up your local medical centre and ask to make an appointment to see a doctor. I assume that's how it works in the U.S.

Benign coital headaches tend to occur before or during orgasm, and may persist for a period of minutes, or hang on for hours after sex. It can occur in both men and women. Although benign coital or orgasmic headaches are very painful, and obviously limit sexual enjoyment, they present no other acute threat. They are thought to result from muscle contraction, and/or blood vessel dilation, in the head and neck during sex

It could be do to a lot of things.

Does it only happen after sex/orgasm? Or does it happen when you do anything strenuous? Is it a pounding?

Best thing would be talk to a doctor.
