"Write "LOVE" on your arm. It's to support TWLOHA (To Write Love On Her Arms)
To Write Love On Her arms is about cutting, depression, addiction, suicide, and meeting those needs and talking about things that haven't been discussed. And saying that people are not alone and that we're called to live together and called to love each other and we've got something to say about pain. And there's HOPE for people. It's about pain, failure, regret, brokenness, and broken people. And about HOPE. TWLOHA is an idea, a dream, a prayer, a song, a fire and a movement.
It's so amazing, and we (everyone who supports TWLOHA) want to get the word out about it, and to help other people. So, to do that we're writing love on our arms on Feb. 13. Why on Feb 13? Well, because that's when suicide rates are at their highest.
Please write love on your arm. And if you could go here and read the story.. then go here and read some of the facts, just so when someone asks you why you have love on your arm, you can tell them and share your love with them. Then I ask, for you to write "love" on THEIR arm. We want this to MOVE.
FACTS: 121 MILLION people world wide suffer from depression. 18 MILLION alone are in the United States. 2/3 are NEVER treated. Untreated depression is the leading cause of SUICIDE. Suicide is the THIRD leading cause of death among young people. (That's US!)

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
