It's getting hot, I know.
I'll be in Arizona for a bit in May and I'd like to plan an outing for coffee on the evening of the 17th. I'm thinking Tempe (probably the starbucks on 5th and mill).
Anyone interested is welcome to reply here or note me!

That sounds like so much fun. I have been on Mill in ages... That's on a Thursday though, isn't it? My hubby works on the air force base so it's not likely that we'll be able to get away. It'd be great to visit Tempe again. We'll seeeee.

Would the weekend be better? I think I could easily do Friday or Saturday night. Maybe we could even hit Big Bang or something--it's a great piano bar right there at 5th and Mill where the old jazz bar (beelow's) used to be.

The weekend would definitely be better. Lemme talk it over with the hubby and see if I can get a sitter for the rugrat. We'll have to poke mooboy about it too! We've been trying to get together for coffee for ages now.

Gah! I'm sorry I couldn't get back to you sooner. My husband had weekend duty this week so we weren't able to leave the base. That and the wind is hooooorrible today. Can you believe this? I would give my left arm for a good rain. Cripes.
Saturday would be a good time any other day, especially after a payday. The hubby normally has the weekend off.

My mom told me about the terrrible weather. And I understand completely about weekend duty, my husband is Army and he's on a field exercise right now. So are we on, then, for Saturday the 19th of May? And how old is your little one?

The 19th of May sounds perfect. The hubby says he doesn't think he has another weekend duty comin up anytime soon. My little guy is four years old as well! So he'll be excited to have someone his age to play with. All his friends around here are barely toddlers or my age.

All my kid's friends are adults, too. I think I can get ~skippycoyote to come along, and ~SMELLSlikeRUST maybe as well. Shall we stick with Starbucks for a meeting place? If that's graduation weekend, we should maybe move the meet up the street to Scottsdale and McKellips or something.
