I'm proposing a NYC devmeet on Saturday, July 24th. I know there was one on June 26th, but many who attended the 2003 devmeet were not able to attend the June 26th meet. All who live in the area are welcome, but I would definitely like to see some members who went to the 2003 meet.
Place: Union Square (14th Street and 4th avenue)
Time: I'd say about noon or 1 PM, not too late.
Ill definatly be there... My brother and I will have to ride the train in from Suffolk county but that's alright! NOw I gotta figure out when to get off the train and how the heck to get to Union Square
I'm 16... i can't drive... and my family definately will not let me go to NYC to meet up with people i haven't met before... (it sucks being the youngest i can't do anything because i'm too "precious"... )
Ride the LIRR to the END (Penn Station)
from penn station take the A,C, or E downtown to 14th Street.
From the 14th Street Station take the L train crosstown to 14th Street, Union Square. Get off, proceed above ground.
If you want I can meet you guys at Penn Station and bring you over to Union.
For those coming from west of the Hudson, I suggest travelling to Hoboken, taking the PATH to the 14th street station (at 6th Ave) and then walking two blocks east to Union Square.
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
