Well, there's been plenty of New York City deviantart meet threads around, although all of them seem float away into somewhere, either because of lack of genuine interest and concern, or perhaps it is because the forum has no ' back ' button.

Regardless, last summer on July 26th we had a meet which, in no particular order , the following deviants attended:

~gypsey , ~austerity , *nicodeema , ~emilng , *lyrica , =napster4every1 , ~flash12 , ~timeaintenough , ~flash12 , and one other fella who's name I happened to forget.

We had a fine time, I'm sure I'm not the only one to think so. I think it would be great if we could all meet again. And then some!

" Then some " refers to other deviants from the NYC, NY, and nearby Jersy area that would want to meet up too. Now I know there are a few of you....some are listed with the two clubs, ~nyc and ~NewYorkCity . While it's not possible for everyone to see this thread, I ( and maybe someone who wishes to help/knows unlisted NY/deviants they want to come ) would and will send a note to people notifying them of this thread for what we'd like to happen.

June 26th, Saturday, Union Square 14th Street is the proposed date and location for this meet. This of course can be changed and altered to everyone's needs so that all can come and won't miss out because of a work day, dentist's appointment, family matters, lobotomy, etc.

Thoughts and suggestions? Things to do? Places to see? It would be nice if you could bring a small portfolio of your work if you have that, a camera, or something else to share with everyone. If not, just bring yourself There's a nearby Starbucks that we can go to and get to know one another, I assume that's a better place then in the hot summer sun.
