The group doesn't have to be artsy, just something you're interested in. You might be surprised how many like-minded folks are in your area.

Fairfax, huh? That's about a 2-hour drive from my hometown in Augusta County.
As a matter of fact, I happen to live in northern Virginia.
I'm not tracking any, but I'm not too far from you - central Maryland. Have you tried looking for groups in your area with similar interests? It can be tough to reach out, but well worth it if it's a good group of people.
Just wear a Confederate Flag t-shirt. You'll make friends
