I've been considering organising a Midlands devMEET based in Star City, Birmingham, England. Star City has various attractions such as crazy golf courses, cinemas, tenpin bowling, casinos, plus lots of places to eat + bars.
There is public transport to Star City (bus from B'ham city center) plus easy to get to from the motorway, should anyone wish to drive.
I'd like to know if people are interested, and if so, what sort of things you'd like to do. The meet will most likely be on a Saturday so it will be easier for those at work & school to join us. This devMEET will be open to all ages, but if you're under 16 then it's advised you bring someone over 18 with you!

I'll definitely be coming cause i live in Birmingham, but im 14.. and i don't know anyone over 18, and I haven't been to Star City since i was like, 6. My parents don't really like Star City, but id love to meet you! 8D
Well, aside from shopping at the Bullring or eating out, there aren't many other places to hold a devmeet where there's things to do, which is why I thought of Star City. If you have another suggestion though, I'd be more than happy to hear it!

Perhaps the city center rather than Star City then? It's easier to get to - I'm just not sure what we could do for the devmeet itself in the city center!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
