I'll hit up mapquest and send the directions of how to get to my place,

Yeah artsy is the idea- I see you're a photographer- the area around my place is quite scenic- there's a nice waterfall, mellow river- plus it'd be great if photographers could document the event (if it's worthy that is...) I figure that if there's traditional artists and writers about we could work on collaborations of some sort- (what sort of collaborations would probably be determined as we meet unless we wanted to discuss that here...) and of course I'd like include generally socializing and getting know one another- also, there's an open mic I like to attend on fridays and that's an open invitation to everyone as well; I intend on inviting the poets there back to my house for a party of sorts after the open mic. So I figure the best time would be in exactly two weeks on Friday, May 16th

er... that was a bit long winded- is there anything in particular that you'd like to happen? I'm always open to ideas- if you can think of a scenario or activity that you'd like to put forward- I'm all ear.

I see you enjoy photography- I was just telling ~srlbeln down there that there's some awesome natural scenery around my house; waterfall, river, redwoods and whatnot... thought that might be of interest. Also there's an open mic I like to attend on Fridays- so if you'd be down for that- that's also a possibility. Also if some traditional artists or writers show up they could probably collaborate together and think some interesting stuff up...

just a thought...and no offense to you at all, but a lot of people might feel better about the meetup if it were in a public place, not someones house. i know i would, being a tiny little girl and all.
that being said...im excited to meet other Deviants around here, and there is most certainly a insane amount if natural beauty to shoot.
that weekend should be fine for me.
