Well, as the real artist you are, then you should be understanding a very simple concept. Art has rules, boundaries, and concepts. Things you learn Drawing/Painting I. Color Theory, Principles, Elements, Concepts, and such. Art is expected to follow these ideas. Line, balance, symmetry, ect.. You may like to think that art is nothing but chaos (as you posted earlier), but sorry, if I tried to put just random stuff on a canvas, I highly doubt the college board would accept my portfolio.
And just because someone is offended by something, doesn't make them any less of an artist. And as people said before, there are laws that need to be abided by. Keep that in mind. You said that this was "ART SITE NOT A REGULAR SITE". Do you really think the government will care about the difference? If the site makes pornogrophy/mature content readily available to minors, it's still an offense, art site or no.
Oh, and have fun with your ban.

Liar, lawyer - mirror, for you what's the difference? Kangaroo be stoned. He's guilty as the government. -'ThePot', Tool
oooh youre following college regulations?!!!!!!!!!!! art has no rules, art has no bouderies. if you honestly believe that. you and everyone like you are lost and will never progress as artist. art degree? thats dumb how can you major in art. art school doesnt make you an artist at all. it helps you. why should a college tell you want to do? life should be your artschool. why am i going to get banned because i asked a valid question? because your all fucking oppressive assholes? or because i made an impact with the right question. and it must be right for all the people that were upset by it. if my question was unimportant no one would be responding. ive made my point.

Well since you obviously didn't read my post on your last thread...
Hey. Y'see that key...just to the left of your A key? It's called Caps Lock. And it's all you need to press in order to stop sounding like an immature dick.
You seem to think you're the only 'real' artist here. Why is that? Because you're willing to rebel against the rules? Congradulations. That puts you right in the same league as 13-year-old wannabe goths. Proud of yourself?
And before you have another angst-gasm, I'll do what you ask and 'think ABOUT THE QUESTION'. Why should an art site be censoring artwork? Good question, as it seems to contradict the freedom of expression that art is all about. For the same reasons that's already been stated at least a dozen times in this thread that you've had your head too far up your ass to read: legal reasons. Should someone sue dA, they wouldn't be able to pay the suit, and they'd be forced to shut down. Not to mention the fact that the creators of this site can make and enforce pretty much whatever rules they damn well please, as it's their site.
What you don't seem to realize, however, is that artwork is not being censored. If it were being censored, it wouldn't exsist on the site at all. A little 'mature content' warning does not prevent you from seeing the content (if you really are that anxious to see violence and porn ). Or maybe you simply don't have the mental capacity necessary to scroll to the top of the page where it says "Settings" and turn off the Mature Content filter.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
