Swingers: Why not like just one person?

Swingers.
People who just can't love one and only one person. There has to be at least 2... or 3.... or 4 other people the like.
Uh... How sucky could that be? Proposing to someone and they say, "I can't... I have 6 other (wo)men that I <3!

Seriously! Man and Woman (or woman and woman, or man and man, ect) were made as a couple. (note couple means two, not 3)

I wish love could be that simple.

Yeah I see that as pretty fucked up as well. Marriage and serious relationships were like...meant to be exclusive and though these days most don't last forever, you should make a point of it to stick by that one person if you truly love them.

Why just like one person? If you can like more than one, and maintain the relationships without any more arguements and jealousy than exist in a two person relationship, what is so inherently wrong with it? Sure, some people are incapable of dealing with more than one partner.. but not everyone.

That's not so much love as it is lust.

No harm in it as long as everyone knows everything and is happy with it I guess. And as long as they don't get married to anyone. Or must a swinger be someone who is married?

Did you know that in a 50x50 image in 256 colours, there are more possible pictures than there are atoms in the universe? Strange but true.

It’s their choice, and if all the parties involved agree what’s the big deal?

Sexual reproduction needs only two people.
Humans being however have moved beyond that in our ability to love one another. Other times it’s just sex for the sake of sex.

I'm not.. but I will defend them They're not loving anyone other than their significant other. Both partners have agreed on it and they're there for fun.
I think you're thinking more of polyamorists.

Swingers are usualy couples, who get together with outher couples, to have sex.

You are talking about Polyamory. More than two people in a relationship. Why confine yourself to loveing ONE person if you love more than one person? What logical reason is there to limit your emotional atachments, cause strife over them, risk devorce..when you can just acept human nature, love who you love, let others love who they love, and NOT have to deal with messy devorces because someone breaks down, does what comes natural behind the spouses back, and gets caught?

Swinging is generally when a couple (married or not) engages in sexual acts with other couples doing the same. They love each other very much, they simply find that their sex lives are better that way. I know it seems odd, and yes I think it's odd too, but whatever works for you I guess.
