Well unless the bad fall was because you were pushed over by your boss on purpose. FUCK YOU. Look where the hell you're going and be a fucking man about it when you fuck up.
Because of this degeneration of society into suing monkeys who can't take responsibility for themselves we have what happened to me yesterday:
My sister somehow managed to drop her phone under the train just as we were getting on. We had to get off and wait until it left the station. The guy who was waving the train off saw the whole thing.
"Hey can we get this phone back?"
"Yeah I'll just call somebody."
I didn't really mind at first. I mean this was the last stop on the line. You could see the train that had left disappearing into the distance. Nothing could come from the right, clearly there was nothing for miles to the left. The phone was less than three feet away... but we couldn't just jump down a couple of feet and pick the phone up... Nobody was coming after a good five minutes so I enquired
"Are the lines electric or something?"
"No. Just need the right guy to get it."
"Oh..."
Nobody came for another five mintues. I'm standing here with a fully clued up employee. Two adult men. Standing two feet from the phone. Picking it up is about as taxing as crossing a road. If you can credit somebody with the self-awareness to cross a road then you could have picked up this phone but no. We can't.
"So is this guy specially trained at looking left and right?"
The guy wasn't amused and we waited. Eventually the guy came. He was dressed in the same orange top and looked bored out of his mind. He was fatter than both of us. He just hopped down and handed the phone to us. Then he stood back up on the platform.
"Ahhhh" I thought "Now I know why he had to do that."
Except I'm lying. I have no fucking idea. I'll tell you what it is. RETARDED. And I'm not even annoyed at this guy. Just the situation and where we'er at as people. It pisses me off so much. I WANT TO BE ABLE TO JUMP DOWN AND GET THE PHONE AND IF I GET HIT THAT'S MY OWN FUCKING PROBLEM.
