Bullshit cravings
So it's almost 1 am where I am and now, tonight of all nights, I get this really hardcore craving for homemade spaghetti sauce. I mean, I could try and whip some up, but it's midnight. I need to be up in the morning, I can't be putting together a meal with a 2 hour cook time. Why can't I have these cravings at a normal hour and have the junky ones at night.

Probably how your body likes to react, we all have different signals that are sent to our brains maybe your brain is gaining signals from your nerves that make you crave that food specifically at that time.

I usually get sweet cravings. 
Sometimes those happen, but it's rare. It's usually fruit when I do though.

I've heard we get certain cravings like this because it's our bodies way of telling us we need more sodium or sugar.
That's probably it. The tomato is what I'm after, so I guess I'm lacking something.
Drink water too, cause sometimes we get food cravings when we're actually thirsty.
The one we make takes like 45 minutes.
I do mine like my mom and grandma do theirs. Their's bay leaf in mine and it takes a while to get all the flavor from it. Definitely worth the wait though
