Hmm damn I'm not sure matey I know how u feel about a guy you fear will hurt himself if u leave em alone but if he only negatively effects you it's best to avoid him. Yes he still likes/depends on you but he as the younger needs to learn to let go especially when the other half just isn't as interested as they were initially. Be safe though okay and happy birthday
