Dear Majormaremolester, (what a shit name IMO), I left here for considerably longer than 8 months. When I was here last I had over 500 images, and almost 200,000 page views. Yes my images were removed in the past, as I have outlined above, yes I was banned for too many infringements. I NEVER once posted any pic of a girl with her legs wide open, and when you look at the image it's purely to show off her cookie, and NOT to even look in the same room as Artistic Nude.

Faggot? that's a very small bird that you cook in an oven.... strange thing to call someone...

NO I didn't look through all of the forum entries, just incase someone else thinks the same as me. I clicked on new postings, I clicked through to Artistic Nude, why, because 99% of my work is artistic nude. My point was not about artistic nudes, my comment was a complaint about of the very deffinately NOT artistic nature of some of the nudes that people post.

Just as I will probably never change my mind about image content, just as I don't expect you to change your inane, unhelpful comments.

There are plenty of other sites available if you want to look at close-up pussy, as a paid up member, I'd rather it was not here. If it wasn't here, I would in all honesty be happy that my image was removed. As it stands, my image showed very little, especially when compared to some of the shit I've seen in the last few days.

agree. I've gotten art taken down for two guys simply kissing eachother fully clothed that were in a romantic, loving relationship but that doesn't stop me from doing it. Mean while I think it's funny how much actual porn is under the artistic nudes section and how none of it is ever taken down.

Men should also keep their nasty fantasy's to themselves.. I don't want to read that you want to stick things places or wish to do naughty things to the models... Just no. That's beyond inappropriate and just downright rude.

I fucking LOVE laughing at and pointing out the creepy comments to people. It usually isn't somebody describing in explicit detail what they want to do to a chick. It's usually something more subtle, like something intended to be a complement that is in no way flattering in presentation or with regards to who is saying it.

Click on Deviantart, top left. Click on Photography. Click on People and Portraits, click on Artistic Nude. Click on Show More.

You will now be able to see what I have been on about. Count the number of photos showing a pussy as the focal point! Legs open, viewed from behind, bending over or on all 4's.

In MY opinion very, VERY few of these images have ANY artistic merit. The image where the guy seems to be intent on playing with the nude woman's pussy, I just don't get as a work of art. WHY are these images still showing, (no pun intended), on here?

I WAS a member for several years, I left, now I'm back. I have, in the past had images removed, 1, because my model looked underage. The other 12 images of the model seemed to be ok, (she was over 21)... 2, Image removed for showing slightly too much, ( NOT an in your face image). I was then banned for another image, I was never able to find out why. Even though one of the admins had that very same image in his faves, go figure.

I posted an image, last time I was here, showing a woman's tongue pretty close to another woman's pussy, not actually touching. I was lambasted by members, as it showed their imagination for what it was, as there was no contact, no sex... I removed the image because I didn't need to log on and see 15 comments from self appointed adminis, self appointed holier than I brigade every time.

Lets recap. A pic of a woman with her legs wide open, or photographed from behind, so that the puss is the focal point of the image. SEVERAL of these on the first page of the artistic nude folder.

I said I'd be quietly slipping away, well, here it is folks, Goodbye. If I want to see open leg shots, blatant pussy shots, I'll go look at the sites owned by the companies at the heart of the second biggest export in the USA, PORN SITES! If I want to have to filter this shit out, myself, and want my art to be removed without any recourse, I would stay. But no, even though I paid up, as I always did, I will leave this site behind.

Oh, and, I do not need to turn the mature (sic) filter on. I shoot artistic nudes, so like to see how others work. If I switched the mature images off, there'd be no reason to be on this site.

So, as I said in my last journal, Art v Porn, Porn wins. So naturally it follows that Artists v Wankers, Wankers win !

It used to be so good here.

RadicalSabbath's avatar
Yeah, I accidentally left the mature content filter unused, so there goes my brain bleach technique for the remaining 30 minutes.
But when I switched back to normal view, there goes the nudes that people call "art." And they start complaining when they get their art removed because it was "glorious." Disgusting.

And about the ol' USA with porn as their number two exports. It's sadly a true fact in this country, even though in our schools and buildings, we pledge our hearts to the flag, doing false commits in our hearts. Makes you think why some of the countries don't want to associate with us, eh?

And if you type up any innocent word such as bunnies or superheroes, you can be guaranteed to find some disgusting women in the search results. Just sad. But good thing there's the mature content filter.

I can understand people doing pose references because some of us can't draw. But luckily, they only focus on anatomy, and not the privates. j

And I absolutely hate it when people try to find the erotics in a nice drawing of women in action. Where's the appreciation of not being perverted for once?
thejohnvstudio's avatar
Yeh, unfortunately I shoot art nudes, and not much else, so it's cool to see what others are shooting. NOT cool seeing what models had for breakfast :P
RadicalSabbath's avatar
It's okay when the artistic nudes are used for anatomy or art references.
Yeah, definitely not cool.
ImperialNokhtis's avatar
Ah but you forget DA has a section called "erotic art" it's totally not the same as porn so those pornographic images are totally okay as long as a penis isn't show inserted apparently.
thejohnvstudio's avatar
Where can one find this catagory? I ran through uploading another image, and there is no erotic art catagory?

Oh, and the image I posted had no penis, only ladies :P
ImperialNokhtis's avatar
my apologies it seems that under people/portraits the new word for it is "fetish portraits". And right you are- if there isn't an inserted dick it isn't porn. Two gay guys= porn two ladies=not porn.
ThatAnnoyingRabbit's avatar
I just report the obvious porn material.
Sadly people break rules and its hard to get them to stop since they can just re upload or make a new account and start over.
The main arguments always start over what some see as the focal points. But the truth behind a lot of these images is that it does not go against site rules to have a vagina or penis showing and there are no bodily fluids or erections. Without those two main factors it isn't porn. Some yes will find this as "fap" material but that's just because they have a very dirty or closed minded way of thinking. Its like with the male artistic nude that got a DD yesterday so many people screamed porn even though it was just a guy with a penis. Some also thought it was erect because well the guy doesn't have a tiny penis. But so many said it belonged on a porn site. People seem to confuse what is porn and what is not. Just because you see genitals doesn't always mean its meant as fap material.
thejohnvstudio's avatar
Firstly, thanks for your comment :)

I had an image removed that was way more artistic, than porn. Yes, people who don't get out much would say it was dodgey. People who live in the real world would catagorise it as erotic art, (as I have been told). I complained that the image was far less pornographic than the huge number of open leg shots. I can see no artistic merit in any of those images. I clicked as I asked everyone else to today, and found 8 images on page 1 where the vag was the point of the photograph. In UK law, they are showing, from a certain angle, and would be consideded porn. The DD where the guy's penis is showing, on its own probably isn't, but when you look at the rest of the gallery, then there's a thin line which I reckon has been crossed, it might not be tiny, but it is awake :P

All sites are the same, unfortunately, most members tend to be male, as does the admin staff. When I naked guy pic comes along, they just ignore it. Then there are the cavemen who show girls with their legs wide, or on all fours with their puss aimed fairly and squarely at the camera, and these are what I don't think should be on an "Art " site.

These images were all reported not too long ago, now, they are increasing in number. Yes I can, and have photographed people completely naked, both in an artistic fashion, and as titilation. I am not a prude, but if I want to see pics like this, I'll go find them on a porn site. Yes genitalia can be seen, but a line has to be drawn, and for me it's a woman with her legs at a quarter after nine !

I left previously after being a paid up  member for something like 7 years, now I'm back and paid up again. Having seen what the site has become, I wish I hadn't paid.
ThatAnnoyingRabbit's avatar
I agree fully with that whole fine line thing.
Sometimes they do seem.. a bit much lol

OMG I know right, the one he got the DD for was nice,
but some other things in his gallery went against rules
a bit. Though some of the comments on the DD were a
bit hilarious.

It sucks when people break the rules that bad. There's just
too many people who break and continue to break rules. And
then they bitch when they get caught.. It's like come on, a site
that has rules set because of teens that are on here and your mad
that they care and enforce the rules? :giggle:

Yes, If its just a open leg vag shot and nothing more I'm not to fond of
it. Especially creepy looking ones. XD But if I simply don't like it I just move
along, and if rules are broken I'll throw a report in. But only if it obviously
breaks the rules like erections, sex toys, bodily fluids, sexualized minors etc.
Otherwise I see no point too because if it doesn't technically break any rules
it won't be going anywhere no matter what anyone says. Which I'm okay with
Just as long as it has the filter on and its categorized appropriately

Even the comments seem to have come from a porn site, get a life guys !

Erotic art is the celebration of human sexyness, and is presented in a way to be seen as. 'Hot',

Artistic nude is the celebration of the human form and is presented to show the beauty of the human form,

There's kind words of a lot of cross over between the two as different people find different things beautiful or sexy and as time go's on what was once seen as normal and beautiful-such as the female breast- is now sexy and practically censured,
And what was seen as sensual, such as this www.luckypalm.com/wp-content/u… is now seen as a normal portrait :-)
RyanPowers's avatar
Well, who says erotic art can't be beautiful and vice versa?  I think beauty and sexuality go hand-in-hand.  Sexuality is part of what makes the human form beautiful.  Why do people feel the need to create an artificial dichotomy between fine art nudes and erotic nudes?  Sexuality itself is beautiful, and it can greatly enhance art.  Also, nude art can be erotic without being sexual.  It can be sexy without being explicitly about sex, and the erotic arousal it incites can be mental or emotional rather than physical.  I think people have some difficulty understanding the difference between erotic art and porn.
Otterwillow's avatar
Well, it is a blury line on these sort of things- erotic and artistic do, and can cross and be combined- sorry I was not clear in my original comment :-)
