Burning down the house.
By Talking Heads... Folks, I'm not one to talk about music, especially from a band as decent as Talking Heads, but I'm going to have to draw the line right here.
Not since DEVO or The B52s have I heard a song so god damned corny. Why do people gotta write such terrible songs?
Anticomplaint: Hey, another music complaint!

Hey, I just met you/And this is crazy/But here's my number/So call me, maybe?
Corniest song I've heard for a while. Not heard the new Talking Heads song, but it has to be pretty bad lyrically to beat Carly Rae Jepsen.

Billy Joel's Up Town Girl is awful. Aqua's Barbie Girl. Ace of Base's I Saw The Sign.
Barbie Girl is a classic shite tune from my childhood!
Come to think of it, Uptown Girl is pretty pants, but as for 2010+, it's got to be Call Me Maybe.

What about Friday?
Oh sweet lord, I totally forgot about that song.
If only we were all that lucky.
No. No it isn't.
''Psycho Killer, Qu'est Que C'est, Fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa far better, Run run run run run run run away''
Oh snaps!
Snaps indeed.
David Byrne is the right kind of nutty, and that song is delightful.
That song is terrible and he isn't a nut. He is a kook.
He is a little off. Did you ever see True Stories?
No, I don't think I've even heard of that.
When it ends you will be like “what the fuck did I just watch.” John Goodman is in it and some other semi-recognizable actors.
I like Goodman.
Being the corny song it is, I preferred Tom Jones' version anyway. The Talking Heads are the Shouting Heads here, I can't get past the first three notes.
Tom Jones is an American treasure.
Okay, I'mma just say I have not heard the song in question, but I love the occasional corny song. I am also clearly not making any connections right now.
