The instant you stop caring about it is the instant you'll suddenly recall where it is, or better, you'll happen upon it. Such always seems to be my luck. Until then, paper and pencil make for a nice substitute.
If you really think you're not skilled with a pencil and can only work well digitally, then you should not be working digitally. The whole inspiration of a tablet comes from simulation of a pencil and paper; so that people who are used to pencil and paper can transition that skill to the computer.
I honestly believe that if someone is going to take the step work digital, that they should be a little be grounded in working with a pencil and paper.
I mean I'm not bad with a pencil, just for me digital is more fine and editable. More choice of color and editing tools and so much more. I'm not saying that pencil, painting isnt that as well, I'm just not good with those things I think. I think it all depends on the person and there skill set, like also I dont think I'm really good with digital. but I dont do it to be good or not I do it because I love it..
