No apartments? SERIOUSLY?

So, I've had enough of living with my parents. I did an apartment search. Not a-one. In a 30 mile radius. :wtf: WHAT IS THIS SHIT?

Winter is usually a bad time to move. Even though they say it's good but, that's when the rent is at it's cheapest. Your best bet is to try again in the early spring months.

Also, you're going to have to widen your search. You may not like the big city but, you can get close.

Why do you want to move out of your parent's house anyways, if you plan on staying within a 30 mile radius?

Well, I'd prefer it be farther, but that's as far as it would let me search. OwO

How far are you from the Twin Cities? My sister lived in Lacrosse and ended up moving to Minneapolis because she couldn't find an apartment either. She was originally sharing a house with a bunch of people but wanted her own place.

I need to build a giant cardboard box castle, and then fill it with catnip and noisy bells for her to mess with at 2 am when her owner is trying to sleep. Kitty paradise.

The only friend I have in town still lives with her parents in a small house, and doesn't have any intention of moving. :\ Especially not if I'm moving in a year to go to TX.

If you did a search online, it's probably not getting ALL the apartments. If it were me I'd get a newspaper, but the market may be different where you live.

The pricier apartments tend to advertise more. If it were me I'd try the local paper... or just hoofing it looking for 'for rent' signs.

Well...

It is a bit past the middle of the month, so only apartments that couldn't fill a room would have one left.

If you don't live in a college town, then people generally stay in them for a long time with very few openings happening at a given time.

If you do live in a college town, then they tend to fill up quickly the month that a semester starts. So you will probably have to wait till May before anything really comes up (or whatever month that most colleges in the area let out.)
