For the past few days it's been nothing but flat out creeps posting random porn from sites, or at the very creepiest a foot fetish person posting pictures of his adolescant niece's feet which is flat out disturbing. This isn't unusual for the site, but the shear amount is quite frustrating. I've been on rants to these random creeps trying to get them to stop posting, as well as reporting hundreds of pictures within the past week with nothing done. Hopefully the DA staff gets off their ass soon enough and takes care of this bullshit.

I partake in erotic photography and agree about the porn issue. There's a difference between porn and art. Hopefully, anyone that looks at my photos would recognize the art involved rather than blindly calling it "porn".

Artistic expression is becoming less and less restricted as the years go by. And while a fetish may not necessarily count as art, the artist is expressing his or her own passion by breaking societal norms. Not saying that I enjoy a lot of these free-spirited exploits, but everyone has their own interests. As individuals, we have a choice of whether or not to look at these pieces. If they're deemed not worthy of your attention just look the other way. It is not as if these people are personally spamming you with junk. There are others among the community who share their interests and so, they share it publicly for those people specifically.
In short, no one can appeal to everybody. Botticelli bought into the bonfire because he was manipulated to think his work was sinful and now we don't have a lot of his works anymore. Not saying that these people are artistic masters or anything, just that they are entitled to post freely. And that one man's trash may be another's treasure.

It's annoying, but eh, I don't even check out the front page anymore :/ I reported one disturbing pr0n pic a while ago, only to get a reply pretty much along the lines of it not being offensive enough to meet criteria or some bullcrap, when it obviously was rightly reported for being inappropriate.
