1.) If you go under settings it'll give you an option to revert to a username. Or it should, I don't know, for some reason certain features don't appear for certain people. Like how it won't let me change my primary Email but everybody else can apparently.
2.) Yeah, that and the fact you can't even see the background picture. You also have to go under a bunch of different tabs in order to check your comments. Then there's the feed, no matter what I do it won't stop showing everybody when I add something to my playlists! I don't know why.
3.) Not to mention, it asks for a phone number a lot of the time, even when you do enter the captcha. You have to find it on a good day in order it to not demand for a phone number. It's so stupid, sites shouldn't be demanding cell phone numbers.
4.) It's more like every few months and I always get used to the new updates anyway. It is pretty annoying though.
I could write essays about how much I hate YouTube's ways. No, I will not stop using it because I need it and I actually like the site itself. If you know what I mean..
You know what's really bad? Now that Google has it, YouTube doesn't have a Customer Support for anything other than complaints about copyright infringement. In light of that, I think their new "Send feedback" option is an absolute joke. They probably don't even read anything sent to them through that thing.

I kept my username, MsSpottedTalon1, by rejecting the offer to change my username to my first and last name. You have to reject the offer to change your username to your full name before the update, did you do that?
Agreed, especially about the usernames and the layout. They're also pushing old users to change their usernames into their full names, and well, I just don't want my full name on the Internet. Is that so strange, Youtube? If they are going to push it to the point that there are no alternatives to the full name use, I'm probably just going to delete my account. It's not that useful anyway.
Yeah the whole having an account on Google thing annoys me too. I want to use Google to easily find things on the Internet, before that could be done without an account, so why would I need one now (from a consumer point of view that is. I can imagine very well why Google would want me to keep an account.)

we really don't have much of a choice... they've pretty much monopolized internet videos. if you happen to come across an embedded or linked video and it's not copyrighted material or porn, it's usually a youtube video.
