Egocentric jerks

Okay, It's not enough that these egocentric A'holes are so very "charming" when you're around them. Now, with FB, Twitter and Instagram, etc..., it feels like you're never NOT around them anymore! Man i'm fed up with their whining about how unphotogenic they look (in photos which are clearly photoshopped), self-take pic as presents for friends during holidays, skinny complaining about being fat... UGRHHHH!

Here you go, darlin', your Christmas present!
I'd say I'm unphotogenic or fat to annoy you even more but, let's face it, I'm gorgeous, hot and slim.
WizardOfUnseen's avatar
So why are you around them?
Buniis's avatar
So.. why not remove them?

Hahahahahahahahahahaha.

All of the social media outlets you've described require you to follow people.

So really, you are doing it to yourself.
LangBam's avatar
I don't use twitter, and you don't follow ppl on FB.
OMG-ImSoAwesome's avatar
Yeah you can follow people on facebook via news feeds. :slow:
The-UglyTruth's avatar
Are you being intentionally thick?
LangBam's avatar
yeah, argueing with assholes on the internet stopped being fun already. So i'm gonna ignore you.
The-UglyTruth's avatar
I'll take that as a 'no'.

tell them to STFU, problem solved.
siantjudas's avatar
So you're complaint is that you haven't figured out a way to not hang around people you hate?
LangBam's avatar
Honestly? I'd like to learn how to hang out with ppl i hate. You have to learn those socialising skills eventually, if you want to get promoted.
siantjudas's avatar
Not necessarily, maybe if you want to get promoted someplace where you wouldn't be entirely happy working.

And there's a difference between tolerating people you hate, and hanging out with them. But if that really is your goal, why not start now by not bitching about it. :D
LangBam's avatar
haha, the main idea is that none of those ppl i know is on DA. So, i need to bitch about it somewhere, don't i? =)
siantjudas's avatar
Ideally no. While everyone has things to bitch about now and again, if what you were saying about your career is like this, that's not good. Because then it'll be an everyday thing. No one wants to work someplace and everyday be coming home like that. It's better to find a place where you're happy, rather than force yourself to work in a place you hate.
LangBam's avatar
Got it ;)... I'll keep that in mind when i start looking for jobs.

Get better friends. Sheesh, as much as people complain about social networks, they seem to forget that knowing better people makes them better.
LangBam's avatar
the problem is that if you're street smart, you'd learn to not burn bridges. Honestly i'm here, essentially, to COMPLAIN, rather than looking for solutions. jeez
MasterPlanner's avatar
Eh, social media attracts narcissists like a candle attracts moths, so stop using facebook and twitter.
Pinkmitten's avatar
Well, for one some are obviously trying to get attention. Which isn't always a bad thing. But yes, when it's a constant thing then you need to go poop on them.
LangBam's avatar
haha good advice =)

For facebook, you can opt out of seeing most of the updates from people. Somewhere on their profile or something, you can change how often they appear in your news feed. I set so many people to "only important updates" so I didn't have to go through 30 pictures of sunsets and sidewalks with "never give up" written on them.

As for Twitter, I don't feel sorry for you if you actually use it :meow:
LangBam's avatar
i shall try that :/...
