I'm really tired of seeing half-naked chicks on the front page. There is nothing artistic about your genitalia, post it elsewhere.
Am I the only one tired of this, and the people that pander to them?

If you want naked chicks, go to a porn site.

One reason why I keep my mature filter turned on; I hate being scarred for life over poorly drawn hentai, half-nude shippings, nude models, rule 34 fan art, and flash-shots of people's less-than-holy body parts.

I do not see porn as an art form, but rather an unhealthy objectification of the human body, and prefer that smut out of my sight. I'm thankful for dA's mature filter, and so glad I don't have to rage over peoples' abnormal fetishes being flaunt on my screen in huuuuuge thumbnail format when I least expect it.

If people like that kind of thing, it's not my problem and I won't tell anyone what content they can't consume in their free time after work or school, but I'm not interested in that stuff at all, so I keep it obscured from my view. I'll stick to faving cute Vocaloid art or outer space paintings and hanging with friends; I don't need a random boner every five minutes sifting through my watchlist.

I honestly believe that anything can be artistic, however with most of the artistic nudes here I can't figure out what is so artistic about them, but then again I am not in the position to declare what is an artistic nude and what is not.

Honestly, I don't think dA is going to get rid of the artistic nudes, so just turn on your mature content filter on and do your best to ignore it all.

There's nothing artistic about a lot of things on this site. The half naked chicks do kinda start to get on my nerves after a while, but I'm more annoyed at things like video game screen shots and photos that belong on facebook or something and not here.

I agree. The only irl photos I upload are for my ID or have been my ID at one point.
As for videogame screenshots, I really hate seeing things like someone just took a picture while they were playing Call of Duty. That's absolutely awful.
