You're not going to get here on dA as the majority of the site is mostly teenagers. I've technicaly been here for 9 years and not much has changed. If you want a sensible art site, go to ConceptArt.org. =S
Anytime, I'm just glad to know that even though the subjects are within the areas of fandom and memes of internet culture. All of those knitted plushies all made with such superior craftsmanship. This is something that you'd RARELY see on the internet.
Well sure, that's something that I should also keep in mind. I should also stress that some people aren't as dedicated and as talented as you are. To some, they think you can shit on a piece of paper and call it 'a art'- and that disappoints me.
If people started setting standards for what people can post on the internet and what they can post, that would be opening a can of worms in the form of oppression. The internet is a platform for people to express themselves. Yeah, a lot of what is expressed is nonsense, but there is also an open form to say things that you usually wouldn't be able to say that needs to be said. I don't find freedom of expression, no matter how much "stupid" people have access to it, a waste of money. It's a priceless luxury to me.
Whenever there were mods and admins, then standards would be set. We've seen this in almost every other forum in a sense. Hell, some of them would constantly wield the banhammer just for good fun until they themselves get banned.
It becomes chaos, but standards to help generate better content. Then again, knowing that every human has a right to free speech and the like, it may not be so. If anything this is just a rant.
