Rock Hard Abs! Or...maybe not.

Not to sound like a broken record, but...it has been snowing a lot.

Last night I posted a thread about the tractor that my family owns. Turns out that what I thought was a safety feature was actually me being an idiot and keeping the RPMs too low. So yeah, that was user error, but my complaints about safety features still apply because safety comes down to the skill of the person doing...stuff...MOVING ON!

I woke up this morning to another foot of snow. Went out and helped my dad get it all moved, alternating between using a snow shovel and the tractor itself. The shovel was not the best idea, considering how weaksauce I am. My abdominal muscles are killing me right now. And since it's going to snow for the third night in a row, I get to go out tomorrow and shovel all over again.

Oh, and I can't see out my windows now. Thanks, mother nature! Fucking bitch.

I live in Ohio. It snowed two days ago, but it was 50 degrees today. This is what Ohio's like. There's no fucking snow now. I'll never have a white Christmas.

I really don't get your aversion to safety features. OH NO! You're mildly inconvenienced. by something that might save lives. OH THE HORROR.

Grow the fuck up.

It's my belief that safety features cause more problems than they solve. They'll kick in when you don't want them (which has nearly gotten me in accidents on multiple occasions) and then won't kick in when you need them (which has gotten other people killed).

Telling me to "grow the fuck up" does not detract from the reality that those features are designed for controlled scenarios and cannot perform adequately enough during extreme situations, or even normal ones.

Come to northern California. You will get ALL the snow.

I am in Northern California. Sacramento, to be precise.

All it does in winter is rain.

That is hardly what I would call Northern California. Also, I-5 up in Redding/Shasta Lake closed multiple times over the past two days and they have Chain Restrictions on I-80 from Applegate to Truckee. Though I heard you guys did get a little bit of flooding in places.

Everything north of San Francisco is considered Northern California. =p

I do live in the valley though so it's much more likely to flood than to snow.

It feels to central for my liking. I feel like Marysville-Yuba City should be the cutoff.
