Ok, so they kind of did that with Cars 2 last year anyway, but this? Pixar have always put story telling first and have been consistently ground breaking with it, but here they're just milking out a concept that wasn't that appealing or made a world of sense to begin with in the first place and slapping a new name on it.
First, talking cars. And now you're making talking planes? What the hell happened to the Pixar of day and old? That awesome studio that put original ideas first instead of milking out commercialism? Did that die out along with Steve Jobs?
Oh noes! Pixar is expanding upon a popular and successful franchise! How dare they try to make money!!! Don't they know that you can't milk the popular for years?! I mean, just LOOK at how horribly it turned out when a studio made repeated sequels/spinoffs of stuff like the Madden games, or the Call of Duty series or even The Land Before Time!
