The UK sucks!

The English countryside can be a pretty place compared to the inner city. You are driving along sightseeing, drive around a bend and you see some ugly, smoke belching, huge, in your face, coal fired electric plant that is a blight to your eyes. How did they get sucked into this anyhow? I say dam up the Thames and use hydroelectric power.

I would love to visit though. And every country has its down-points. It seems great at first and BOOM you see every flaw.

It's fucking freezing here in the north. So cold. We had a fire at out school and had to wait outside for 1 hour. I only had my pe kit on. Worst day ever.

I personally like it here. It's not too hot, not too cold for my tastes and the countryside of Kent is really pretty. I also live pretty close to London so that's nice.

It's lovely down here.

Lucky, I went to Nice last year, absolutely beautiful weather. I'm studying in York at the moment but normally live near Cambridge, still adjusting to the grim northern winds

Really... I think you get stuff like this all over. It isn't just in the UK. So in retrospect, THE WORLD sucks.

So what's the deal with UK magazines?? Why are they so fucking big and unable to fit in any racks properly? Why can't they just print normal sized magazines? It's a bit of a bitch working at a bookstore and I'm doing the magazine section and I get a big honking UK publication that I can't put anywhere! :rage:

I would say some US publications are the same. Magazines like Bride and Oprah tend to be big. I think Oprah is trying to look smaller by having her magazine bigger than she is.

I have never been to cork. I want to go.

5 Is nothing. I did 9 the other day, twice in one day. Thats 18 hours out of the 24 hours in a day. My advice, don't do it. D=

It's an alright place. A lot of good bands like Deep Purple and Thin Lizzy play there often. =]

I would feel like dying inside, I hate buses with a passion and unfortunately, I have no choice but to ride them.

Not that Sauron was any better. But at least he had better looking architecture.
