I don't mind them, but I think people are getting sick of hearing about them and seeing that they are pretty much everywhere and seems to be the only thing many people and T.V shows seem to be talking about at the moment..
Onem ore thign against them. THEY DO NOT MOVE IN ONE DIRECTION! THE WALK ON STAGE JUST LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE! People should stop calling themselves things they don't do.....Like Far East Movement should be North South West and East Movement becuase I'm pretty sure they don't just go around the world just to come back.
Justin Bieber is an insult to poets and lyricists EVERYWHERE! His words say NOTHING. His songs say NOTHING. Worst of all, he SPAMS THE COPY PASTE BUTTON!....seriously, If you don't have enough words to write a song, don't write a song. What you DO NOT do is take the same sentence/word and just throw as much as you logically can in there.
.... Rihanna has also committed this horrible crime more and more as of late.
One Direction....pans too much to children with 3rd grade level literacy but they make an effort to be semi-decent so they're more just floundering noobs requiring much help.
At least with rappers, most of them are well aware few people can hear what they're sayign in the first place so they focus on just giving a good beat to headbang to
Hmmmmm, I think Bieber and Rihanna are not the ONLY music makers who make this mistake... even the "great" Adele does it too, "Ruumor has it, ru-rumor has it, Rumor has it, ru-rumor has it, rumor has it, ru-rumor has it, rumor has it, ru-rumor has it..." etc. etc. etc.
Oh don't I know it. I get that they need to build a verbal rhythm and all, but there are better ways to do that than just repeating the same thing over and over again. Like you could speak in a round (last word of previous line used as first word of the next) Or assonants or any other number of literary devices. . It just seems like popular music nowadays is just coping out, killing complexity as it goes.
How bad is this?....I actually miss Madonna's "Ray of Light"
I struggle to find good music these days. Thank heaves for Pandora radio. I am always experimenting and adding new tracks to my stations to mix things up. I have found the best music sometimes is the music without any lyrics at all (new age instrumental and such.)
I like One Direction, not 1D but One Direction...USA! I feel horrible that they had to change their name because of a bunch of crazy, hormonal, teenage girls that decided to DISLIKE EVERY VIDEO they had! They're music wasn't even that bad. I'm positive you're talking about the guys from England though, I don't like their music. I like Oates and Hall |D listening to the commercial now...gotta love Google.
