Fuck these cramps in the ass.

I never used to get period cramps, but in the past 4 months or so, the pain has got progressively worse. I'm taking Ponstan and I'm sitting here, sweating, because I have a hot water bottle in 30c degree heat.

It feels like I dunno, like knives are being stabbed into my fucking uterus. Like, holy shit. Nothing is making them go away :saddummy:

I really hate to see what it feels like to have a baby.

Have you ever considered acupuncture? It's not a total cure, but it could help.

Also google acupressure for period cramps.

Here are a couple sites I found (I don't know if they'll be helpful):

I haven't had a period in 6 years. Before that it was so faint you would of probably laughed at me and told me to die. 2 days maybe, and they were light. I felt uncomfortable and not so happy, but I appreciate not being in agony. My cousin on the other hand had awful periods.

Still, I hope it gets better, if your medication is to blame can you change?

I was tempted to make a complaint about this a few days ago, but I was like "too personal."

Anyways, yeah, they fucking hurt! I used to never get cramps, only slight ones but they last for two minutes. Now it's like a entire hour of cramps.

God, Uterus!

I'm the same as you - used to be cramp free 'til recently. Unfortunately, I get front-side cramps one month and then back-cramps the next. Cannot decide which are worse. Probably back, you can't curl up in fetal position as well.

I've had them since forever and there's nothing I can do to make them go away :noes:
Not that I'd want to discourage you.

Usually the first 2 days are the worst, also they get a lot more painful if you have a cold or some infection or virus, well that's my experience anyways.

I'll bring you chocolate pie. That helps.

I usually take a warm bath then make a nice warm cup of tea and watch a movie. And sometimes laying on my side while hugging a pillow helps. Though I only cramp on the first day, it hurts like hell. :(

:iconnelsonplz: I don't have to deal with cramps because when I feel even an inkling of pain, my brain goes ":iconbitchpleaseplz: I ain't got to take that shit from you, Body." and drowns it out with painkillers, whereupon my body goes ":iconokaymemeplz:"

So which would you rather have? Period cramps, or a tendency to maim yourself?

Instead of just sitting there, you should do something that distracts you from the pain. If you're just sitting there all miserable and thinking "oh god the pain", it actually does feel worse. I personally find walking around kind of useful. Or just keeping myself busy. If my period starts on the weekend, I always feel like I'm going to die, because I just get to lie around, you know. But if it's a schoolday, I just take a painkiller and suck it up. And I actually don't feel nearly as miserable, when I'm busy being in class and thinking about other stuff.

It's funny how many young women say they're going to have a natural birth and then end up using an epidural anyway :bucktooth:

I imagine childbirth will be like the 9 periods I've missed hitting me all at once...
