Yup, but think of it this way. They keep youtube free and the people who make videos can make a living from them. They may be annoying, especially those 30 second ones with no skip button but we all just have to put up with them.
You do realize that you don't actually have to watch those commercials? I've never seen one, ever.
If you're using Chrome or FireFox, just get the AdBlock Plus addon/plugin. On your browser, the ABP red button will appear (usually near the bottom of the browser) and it looks like a red stop sign. Click on that to bring up the menu and click on Filter Preferences.
Click "Add Filter Subscriptions" and find all the ones that are appropriate for your country/language. For example, since I'm in Canada and I speak English, I chose all of the Easy/English filters.
This will block the ads on YouTube and pretty much every other site. Problem solved.
