Because I've heard people call anyone with skin paler than their own a "cracker". Blacks to blacks, whites to whites and so forth. It's funny that they use that word and it's a slang term that has been noted to be derogatory against white people.

Probably would've been wiser to simply have stuck with smug circlejerk instead of inserting a derogatory slang word in there, but that's just my opinion.

"Cracker" actually meant "slave owner." It happened to be that most slave owners were white.
