There's a man wandering downtown with a sign saying "All Canadians are Nazi's for allowing our prisons to be used as asylums."

Because that's what Nazi's are known for. Their comfortable, safe prisons.

I wanna kick him in the balls and scream, "Godwin's Law, bitch, you lose!" But work starts in 10 minutes.

Also how the fuck am I responsible for that? I keep voting every election I get the chance to do so (there was once I ended up missing the ballot since I became an adult) and the people I vote for never get into power and therefore I literally cannot do anything to stop that unless the guy's suggestion I brake into a prison, grab all the inmates and put them into a mental hospital :stare:

I agree prisons often are filled with mentally ill people but that's a global problem and not a Canadian one. People tend to get arrested for their conduct without the reasoning for said conduct being put into the spotlight :shrug: so its normal for someone that's just off in the head to end up in prison. I think prisons need a better evaluation system to ensure the people in there are actually mentally well but that would require a lot of funding and interest which unfortunately there isn't any or at least not much.

:c really this comment is getting long for just responding to something an obviously mental guy said but still I don't like getting blamed for a system being fucked up that was put into place before I was even born and I've never had people I voted for put into a position in which they could fix it. I've only been able to legally vote for like 6-7 years, that's not long enough to do a lot of change in a country that only changes who's in charge every 4 years or so.
