Too much digital artwork

Is it me or does traditional artwork usually look better than digital? The majority of popular artwork on DeviantART is digital yet I think it's usually lacking appeal. Am I the only one who prefers traditional methods. :?

I do traditional.
But I actually disagree.
Digital looks much more crisp and clear, with more vibrant colours.

I have many things to say about this, but ~IheartWaffies ~Zapydos2 *cybeo and a few others have already said the things that are on my mind concerning this issue.

I do both. Pencil is for sketches and fun little doodles, while Sai is for imaginative purposes and I only upload digital works and a few drawings because I am not satisfied with how I draw.

But anyways, you can filter only Traditional drawings if you care so much.

Funny that traditional art is digitally marketed and appreciated.

I started off doing traditional mediums such as pencil, ink, clay but I mostly frequented the use of air brushing. I loved it, the ability to paint on my costumers walls to make something expressive was pure euphoria . Because of where I live, due to the recession ; my state was hit pretty badly I had to put away my tanks and supplies. It was just to expensive to keep a hobby like that up and even harder to get people to commission me due to the hard times. A bottle of air paint ran me about 6 dollars and that is depending on the colour . Now I digitally create as a means to express myself.

It is easier to do digital than it is to do traditional mainly because the tools are at your fingertips and easily accessible . And since there is a record high in digital, it makes traditional art that much more rare and pricey.

There are a lot of really beautiful digital stuff here but I agree there should be more traditional stuff. I fear that in the next generation artists won't know what a pencil or paint is.
