I finally got the money from my dad to pay off my government student loans. I couldn't figure out what name they were under to add them to my payees list on my bank account though. I tried searching student loans and government and stuff and wasn't turning anything up, so I decided to give them a quick call. I finally get through to a human being, and this exchange occurs:

Fucking Idiot: Hello, can I have your SIN and loan number so I can pull up your account please.

Me: I don't need you to do that, I just want to know what name you guys use for making payments online through my bank account.

Fucking Idiot: Yes ma'am, can I have your SIN and loan number so I can pull up your account please.

Me: ... Why? I just want to know what name you guys use for online banking.

Fucking Idiot: Yes ma'am, I will pull up your account and tell you.

Me: ... That makes no sense. Ok, whatever.

Fucking Idiot: Please allow me to put you on hold while I bring up your account.

[Ten minutes later]

Fucking Idiot: Ok ma'am, how can I help you today?

Me: Like I said, I just want to know what name you guys use for online banking.

Fucking Idiot: Oh, please hold while I transfer you to a different department.

Me:

And that, your honor, is why everyone in a fifty mile radius is dead.
