Check out this poor person's profile page. It's a veritable shitstorm of fuckery.

Why are people making comments like "I hope you kill yourself" and "you're a terrible person?" She said something bad about a character in My Little Pony.

Funny how the internet is collectively bawwing about free speech and expression right now, yet somebody has an opinion about fucking ponies (which I don't personally agree with, but recognise that she's entitled to) and suddenly becomes an internet hate figure.

They don't even know that her Tumblr entry was the sole reason Hasbro began removing references to the character. They don't have any idea if various other people, including support groups for the handicapped, wrote in to complain about the character. I highly doubt that they want to remove Derpy because some kid on Tumblr ranted about it.

I can understand why they would, whether pressured into it or not. At the end of the day, My Little Pony is made for small children. A little kid may be more confused about the portrayal of a "clumsy" or "slow" character, and in an age where everyone is told to be more politically correct it's comprehensible that Hasbro would want to avoid drama by toning down the personality of the character or removing it altogether.

However you feel about the situation, the abuse this person is getting for just speaking her mind about a children's cartoon is inexcusable.

Fucking hell, these people are batshit insane.
