Our inevitable downward spiral

How Far gone is our society and culture that the "big issue" in the news today is some dumb and ignorant rapper, being a natural rapper; stupid? I mean, let's face it people, rappers are unintelligent. Prove it, you say? Okay, exhibit A, Their lyrics. Has anyone ever heard of a rapper using complex words in their lyrics? No. You want to know why? They don't know any and they're far too lazy or high to look at them. Exhibit B, the music. Come on, really now, any jackass can come up with rhyming words and throw together some shitty rap lyrics. Plus, they don't know the first thing about real musical instruments. Lastly, Any idiot can talk to a beat, it takes no talent whatsoever, face it rap isn't music, it's trash. Retards Attempting Poetry is what rap is short for, in a nutshell. Kanye West is a moron and come on, who cares anyway? His "music" isn't written by him and it's horrible to begin with, there is nothing good about this guy, he's a talentless loser.
Secondly, whatever happened to the Real issues? The VMA's are second rate televised garbage. Seriously, when our president even takes a stance on the "issue" we know where our culture, our society and the human race is headed; straight to Hell. Wake up people, it was a televised event and has no importance whatsoever. Nobody was injured, nobody died, nobody had weapons of mass destruction, STOP ACTING LIKE HE BOMBED THE WHITE HOUSE!!!! It's nothing anyone should be concerned with whatsoever. It's sad when we worry about trivial things such as this "issue" It was a flash of ignorance at best! This is the kind of thing that should be forgotten and put in the past, but yet you morons out there think it's a big deal. REALITY CHECK- IT"S NOT A BIG DEAL! It's completely irrelevant, as a matter of fact. But our culture of morons continues to dwell on it. We're like a county of babies, crying over spilled milk. Whatever happened to America's dignity? I believe it died long ago. It's as my professor said, "It's almost like we're all jumping eagerly into the hand basket and shouting Let's go to Hell!" I admit that what that simpleton did was ignorant, but like I said, it should be ignored because you should treat rappers like children(intellectually, they are), if you ignore them, they will lose steam and give up. Stop being idiots and dwelling on this doltishness! Maybe France and the rest of the world are right about us, we're far too concerned with insignificant nuisances, such as this an not enough real, important issues. We need to wake up and realize the true, important issues, not what happened at some meaningless, unimportant television event. If you have a fraction of a brain in your head, you know I'm right.

I believe in the right to free speech no matter what someone expresses.

I must admit though I had a really bad experience with this rap entertainment in a place I worked to make a living through a temporary employment agency.
I was on this plastic molding assembly line conveyer belt next to another operation of the same production. These guys on this other line were listening to this rap music really loud while the boom box was less than a tables length away from me. This began to interfere with my ability to concentrate on my work, I noticed my attention to work details was being interfered with. Quite a lot of shouting with expressions of racial slurs and profanity mixed with a lot of extreme emotional comments in this entertainment were blasting from this box. When I asked the machine control operator of the production floor to do something about the annoyance he commented; "Whats the matter, can't you take it"?
Now in a situation like this where it is impossible to move a giant mold making machine to another location and work somewhere else where you are not being distracted from concentration on your work, your forced to stay there and put up with something that should really be controlled in the work place on payroll time for the sake of better quality in products. This distraction certainly leads to more things being overlooked and mistakes as a result of the interference that is conflicting with your ability to concentrate on your work.

Maybe this is why so many manufacturing companies are leaving this country. People here have the wrong priorities and get too hung up on social issues. Not to mention drug abuse in the work place.

On your own time I have no problem with this. If I hear somethnig offensive simply move away from the distraction zone. Yet in the workplace under the conditions I just mentioned that is almost like a form of psychological torture.
