This is a while back, but still... it needs to be said.
Met this guy in the library, and he asks me out. Eventually I agree. He asks if I want to go to see a play, and I say yes.
The name of the play?
"Cunt Pie"
I still agreed, out of shock. Mum threw a hissy fit afterwards when I told her, insulting him, and eventually calmed down when she saw the review online, and decided it was a "social commentary". And I talked to some others, who said that it was OK to go - if he expected something else, then it's too bad.
Later on, I found out that the theatre only had one play at a time, and he was busy so couldn't really see anything else, plus he was stressing a bit while mentioning the play title to me. He also turned out to be quite the gentleman. (we're no longer together, though) Still, I don't think it was a good tactical move for a first date. ^^
Bonus complaint: why are my two most recent complaints related to dating?
oh geez... well, it was set in a bar, and it was about four people being unfaithful to their partners, who were elsewhere. Eventually it turned out that two were working together to set the other one up, and blackmail them. Then one guy turned violent, and it ended "can I get any lower?" or something. It was one of those interesting yet meandering plays.
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
