This is an incredibly pissy, grammar nazi complaint, but I can't help myself. I apologise in advance.
I know you guys are all dead keen on using this phrase as often as you possibly can, because it makes for a nice literary exclamative meant to indicate to your readers the sheer gravity of the situation, the shocking nature of the revelation you are to impart upon us. But please, before I go completely mental, learn to spell the fucking phrase. PLEASE.
Lo and behold.
It's not 'loan behold'. Nor is it 'low and behold'. It's 'lo and behold'. Please note the spelling and remember it, or I shall send after you squads of grammar nazi zombie legions to tattoo it permenantly on your face and then eat your skin.
I almost posted the moan directly to this thread, but then I thought that would be rather unfair of me, given that this person is far from the first offender. I seem to see it mispelled all over the forums every sodding day! It annoys me for reasons I can't define.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
