Salmon Bots?

Umm, so I got an IM from a ranom screen name on AIM the other day. The screen name was "PieEatingSalmon". I searched the screen name on google, cause I didn't know what else I could do, and I found a live journal community all about a bunch of bots with the word Salmon in them. They pull names from DeviantART and Xanga and I dunno what they do with them. All the name that messaged me did was say "Hi." It didn't respond after that. But if there's one thing I hate it is PEOPLE I DON'T KNOW BOTHERING ME. So, since I found that the bots pull names from people on this website who have their AIM name listed, I thought I'd ask while complaining at the same time, has this happened to you? Me is pissed about this personally. I took my AIM name off my profile.

So you put your AIM details on a public part of the internet, and you're upset that people are using those details to contact you? (Bot or human).
