It pisses me off when people on here actually refer to eachother as artists

And they act like they are actually artists or something
I knocked someone's anime once and they were pretty much like "Well, you're a photographer so you can't talk"
I mean, wtf.
Just because most of this site seems to be teenagers releasing whatever creativity they possess does not mean it is an online haven for artists.

But there are a lot of accomplished artists/photographers on deviantArt.

Sure, there are also a lot of people who are still learning, but I wouldn't want to discourage them.

And while I'm not a fan of anime, if that's what people want to create then who am I to stop them.

i don't know, someone who isn't my age and if they are they will successfully pursue art when they finish/drop out of school and not just be an art teacher or something.

ya, i have more photos on here than drawings, but only coz my scanner is crappy and takes long.
I draw more than I take photos.
I don't consider myself a photographer or artist.
